You are cordially invited to attend a light brunch on Sunday, July 21st after the church service to celebrate the work our Good Neighbor Network (GNN) and Prayer Network volunteers have done over the past year.  We will be meeting in the Church Parlor at 11:15 am to thank our current volunteers and share information and experiences about the GNN and Prayer Network to anyone who may be interested in becoming a volunteer. 

The mission of the GNN is to visit homebound members of our church family in order to better integrate and include them in the life of our church. Many of our church family are either unable to attend worship or otherwise participate in the life of our church. The longer an individual is homebound, the more isolated he or she may become and the less known he or she will be to new members.  These individuals have been active and giving of their energy, time and financial support to the church when they were able and now may feel isolated or forgotten. 

The GNN ministry provides homebound church family members and friends a friendly, caring and nurturing link to our church life with focus on re-connecting them with our congregation. It gives our neighbors the opportunity to share their thoughts, needs and ideas with the volunteers who can then relay the information back to our church, as well as keep our neighbors updated on church activities, events and available resources.
