Women’s Fellowhsip is sponsoring a field trip to see the Gardena High School Art Collection, an extraordinary collection of paintings by artists in California between 1919-1956. This collection is especially noted for many California Impressionist paintings by renowned artists.

Friday, OCTOBER 4  9:30am - 3:30pm

Meet at the Neighborhood Church east parking lot at 9:30 AM.  

Bus, admission, and docents tour by Bruce Dalrymple and Bea Walker are included.

Lunch on your own at many enjoyable nearby restaurants.

Time to explore the charming city of Orange and some of the exhibits and highlights of Chapman University.  (maps included) 

Cost:  $15. Your payment reserves your seat on the bus. You can sign up in the Church office or after church beginning August 25.

Bruce Dalrymple is a Gardena High alum and serves as President of GHS Art Collection, Inc.

This nonprofit organization has raised money to conserve the collection and publish the book:

Gifted: Collecting the Art of California at Gardena High School 1919-1956.

The book is available from Bruce for $44.  Book sales help support the collection.
