good grief group

Since 1984, the Good Grief Group has served as a crucial part of our Bereavement Ministry. Led by Sam and Lois Bloom, the Good Grief Group meets several times a year in four to six week sessions.

Healing after Loss

Death is difficult to understand and deal with—when a spouse, parent, child, sibling, relative or friend dies, we experience various issues of grief. The Good Grief Group is a safe place to openly share your feelings without judgement. We seek to provide a place to be with others who are dealing with grief-- similar feelings, problems and stages. Being in a group may not provide instant relief, but it can help you better understand your own experience and eventually move forward.

There is no charge to attend the Good Grief Group, though prior registration with the Church Office is required. The group is open to all who have lost a loved one by death, regardless of church membership. The next session will be held this Spring 2018.
