A Soundtrack for the Holiday

To celebrate Christmas, we’ve put together a YouTube playlist of all of the different pieces that we’ve shared throughout the Advent Calendar, including three brand new pieces! Dr. Hyunju Hwang shares her performance of Sleigh Ride (Arr. Thomas Trotter) on organ, Linda Repking (flute) and Dr. Hyunju Hwang (piano) share a performance of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and The Neighborhood Brass Rings are back with a performance of O Come, All Ye Faithful. If you click “play all” in the top left corner, the playlist will automatically play the videos one after another. We hope you’ll enjoy this music while you’re wrapping gifts, cooking Christmas dinner, decorating cookies, playing cards or simply enjoying time with your loved ones. Marilyn’s Healthier Hot Chocolate: Combine a spoon or two of cocoa into a cup and add just enough water to make a smooth paste. Stir for about a minute, and add warm milk or nondairy milk of your choice to fill the cup. That’s it! If you prefer your hot cocoa on the sweeter side, you could adda teaspoon of maple syrup. Feel free to add a touch of cinnamon or drop or two of mint extract for an extra festive touch. Merry Christmas!
