Mommy, Daddy and Me Spring Session (Fridays)

We are excited to continue our Mommy, Daddy and Me program with Allison Schmitz!

Mommy and Me is a shared experience of fun, exploration and learning between parent/grandparent and child. Children will develop the use of sensory, fine and gross motor skills. Positive social interaction is encouraged throughout the program.

This Spring, we will offer three different sessions; classes will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Each group will meet from 9:30-11:30AM in the Nursery in Dennis Smith Hall (room 103). The cost for the program is $350 for the full ten weeks, or $35 per session. Class size is limited and will likely fill up, so book as soon as possible!

Child must be accompanied by an adult— Mom, Dad, Grandparent, Nanny, etc.

To register, please download the form below and return it to Allison at the email address indicated on the form. If you have any questions, please contact Allison using the contact info on the form.

About Allison Schmitz

Allison was born and raised in Palos Verdes Estates. After ten years away from California (via Chicago and Philadelphia), Allison returned to her native roots. Allison received her Bachelor’s of Arts from CSU Chico and her CA Teaching Credential from CSU San Marcos.

She is the daughter of Gail Warner, who is a veteran Teacher on the hill and started the first school garden program in the country. Allison spent a lot of time helping her mom with children since she was young.

After working in elementary school, she found her true calling in early childhood education. Allison runs the Nursery in our Sunday School and is currently the Activity Director for RHUMPS where teaches “Moovin and Groovin,” which is a school favorite. Allison also teaches Mommy and Me and Me and My “2’s” which focuses on the children and the parents. She volunteers in support groups for Post Partum Depression and has helped lots of new moms cope with the struggles of being a new parent.
