Creation, Climate and Change: Exploring Options for Hands On Involvement

As God’s children and stewards we are called to care for creation and this wonderful world we have been gifted.   If you’ve often thought we need to do more to protect the environment and pass on the beauties of the earth to our children and grandchildren without all the extreme problems and pollutants that threaten its future, then you will want to consider being part of this hands on group.

Rev. Dr. David D. Young will facilitate the group, which will meet on six successive Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 in the Parlor, beginning on April 10th and running through May 15th.  The schedule will flow like this:

April 10          Exploring the Bible and Creation

                        April 17          Creation and Theology

April 24          Exploring Climate, Weather and History

                         May 1              Climate Science

May 8              Exploring Options for Hands On Involvement

May 15           Commitments and Plans for Making a Difference

Please consider participating in this group.  Caring for our planet is one of the most important issues facing humanity and particularly for those of us who understand ourselves as caretakers of God’s incredible world.
